I wonder if some of the first Scottish settlers to NZ brought them over?Matronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07705506930308472527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2805326905560957917.post-38884548875994612802010-02-02T23:10:03.364+13:002010-02-02T23:10:03.364+13:00We grew a few purple taters last year and I though...We grew a few purple taters last year and I thought they were really good in potato salad, too! They worked well in the potato salad I made. We had some of the Kowiniwini tonight, beautiful waxy potatoes, pale cream flesh, exceptionally nice flavour. The Cliffs Kidney are also quite good but I would give the Kowiniwini top marks so far.

cheers
BridgetCabbage Tree Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13035566919486082520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2805326905560957917.post-18542883103731222010-02-02T19:03:39.273+13:002010-02-02T19:03:39.273+13:00I'm hoping to grow some blue spuds this year b...I'm hoping to grow some blue spuds this year but they didn't have any in the garden centre when I went last week.

Rosie xA Green and Rosie Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02501989987736281707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2805326905560957917.post-23011561781402341472010-02-02T17:45:42.469+13:002010-02-02T17:45:42.469+13:00mmm yum!
