..are fresh tomatoes out of the garden. Here is a selection of what's ripe at present: Black Krim, Roma, Green Sausage and a 'Cocktail' mix. They taste wonderful. I'm really looking forward to the Brandywine Pink tomatoes too, some of which are not far off ripe and one or two are enormous! Will be great sliced or halved and cooked up on the BBQ hotplate... YUM!

Hello Bridget, those tomatoes look absolutely delicious. My favourite tomato is the pink brandywine but as I have none growing right now, I'll think about how tasty yours will be.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking through the seed catalogs that have been coming in and saw the Krim blacks and wondered what they were like. Since you mentioned them I may order a packet of seeds to give them a try.
ReplyDeleteI love tomatoes! I had a big pink heirloom that I grew for years but I lost the seed in a move. I love the brandwine too.
ReplyDeletewow, WOW! we are in the middle of winter here in Kentucky, so you cannot imagine what a sight for sore eyes those beautiful tomatoes are. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments everyone.
ReplyDeleteBlack Krim is a very good tomato, well worth growing. Apart from the great flavour, it's meaty inside and not watery like some.
I'm sorting out my seed order this week and hope to try some different tomatoes this year. Still a bit nippy to get them started though.
