Who are we?

My photo
Cabbage Tree Farm
Kaipara, Northland, New Zealand
Hi, thanks for checking out my blog! My name is Bridget and my blog is about Cabbage Tree Farm, our small piece of paradise where I live with my husband and our young son. Our priority is to be more self-reliant and we endeavour to produce as much fresh, natural food as we can. We have large orchards and a big vegetable garden, with herbs and flowers. We are progressively landscaping our surroundings for privacy and wind protection, and are raising a small number of livestock including pigs, chickens and one or two cattle for food. I cook from scratch, so may share the odd recipe, and share my learning experiences with making soap. Thanks for taking a peek at Cabbage Tree Farm, hope you find something of interest - please leave a comment, we'd love to hear from you!
