Citrus fruit bonanza

Our lovely neighbours W&P came round a few days ago and brought us a large bag of assorted citrus fruit, freshly picked from a family member's garden. Lucky us! The haul consisted of Lisbon lemons, small oranges, limes and a few lemonades.

I've made a small batch of lemon curd (honey) already and have earmarked the rest to make a mixed fruit marmalade, orange whiskey marmalade and a lime curd.

Lucky you with your giftf of citrus fruit.

I like lemon curd, still have to get used to organce marmalade - let alone whiskey flavoured and lime curd, mm I don't think I've ever tried that flavour. I will have to one day.

Have fun in the kitchen!

Hi Mangocheeks
Yes how lucky. I took the neighbours a jar of lemon curd and they were pleased.

I've made the lime curd, but not the marmalade as yet, time permitting will do tomorrow! I've not tried the whiskey flavoured one either but saw it in a magazine and thought it sounded good!
