Brandywine Pink tomato

A nice ripe Brandywine Pink tomato

Sliced and fried with breakfast
This morning I checked the tomatoes and found a nice ripe Brandywine Pink tomato, the first of many more to come. We had it sliced in two and fried with our bacon and eggs this morning. It was delicious, so tasty!

this is so funny, because I picked our first pink brandyvine this morning as well!
We've never had these before, but they look and smell amazing - we haven't eaten ours yet, but it's HUGE!

Breakfast at your place looks good.
How was the flavour of the tomato?

Hi Laura
How funny! Hope you have eaten and enjoyed it by now!

Hi Maa
The flavour is amazing. Really sweet, especially for such a big fruit. It's a really meaty tomato too.
