Mystery flower

Does anyone know the name of this iris-like flowering plant?

It most likely is an Iris Bridget. I'll have to go and consult my book and see what cultivar it is. Gorgeous!

Isn't it stunning yes.

Hi Maa, it looks similar to the Siberian Iris yes but doesn't have the stripes inside at the top, so I'm not convinced it is that.

I still can't find out what this is, despite numerous web searches. What a shame, I'd like to know. So if anyone has any other ideas please post a comment!

i'd say a tigridia - strange name, still in the iris family.
nope not a siberian, they don't tend to be strippy, and like the bog better, the tigridia tends to rot in wet footed places.
